Our next donation goes to… the Gary Sinise Foundation! The foundation honors our nation’s defenders, veterans, first responders and their families through innovative projects that entertain, educate, inspire, strengthen and build communities. Sinise also recently founded the Avalon Network, which provides mental health care to veterans and first responders dealing with post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injuries and substance abuse. In his words, “Freedom and security are precious gifts that we, as Americans, should never take for granted. We must do all we can to extend our hand in times of need to those who willingly sacrifice each day to provide that freedom and security.
