From 2014 to 2017, Prevailance proudly partnered with the Tidewater Science Congress as a corporate sponsor of the Tidewater Regional Science and Engineering Fair (TSEF)—an annual event that brings together over 300 middle and high school students from across the region to showcase their science projects. Students develop research questions, conduct empirical studies, produce engineering designs, and present their findings through technical writing and oral presentations, demonstrating both analytical thinking and communication skills. As part of our commitment to community engagement, Prevailance employees volunteered as judges, evaluated student projects, and recognized top performers in each category (middle school/high school) with certificates and monetary awards. Just as importantly, our team connected with students to learn about their academic journeys and future aspirations in science and economics.
