Company leadership returned to North Carolina’s Outer Banks in early April for an Offsite dedicated to the concept of Resiliency, a review of recent company successes, and goal-setting into 2020 and beyond. Leadership from California joined HQ personnel and Hampton Roads PMs for 2 days of work, team-building, and camaraderie.
The Global Contractor Instructional Services for Surface Warfare Officer School (GCIS SWOS) was awarded to Team Prevailance, consisting of Prevailance. Inc., Valkyrie Enterprises, Inc., Kimora Solutions LLC, and Aerotek, Inc. The 5-year instructional contract provides critical surface warfare training at five different learning sites across CONUS and Hawaii. Team Prevailance is dedicated to bringing the highest quality instruction to our surface Navy!
Prevailance was awarded the follow-on contract for the Navy’s Center of Security Forces (CENSECFOR) Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) training, and will continue to provide expert SERE instructor support at Kittery, Maine and San Diego, CA. CENSECFOR’s SERE program focuses on Code of Conduct training for Navy and Marine aviators and other high-risk Naval combat personnel, instructing them how to evade capture by enemy forces, and if captured, return with honor.
Prevailance wins Air Force SBIR PhaseI! Prevailance, Inc. and Arctop, Inc. joined forces to win a recent USAF Small Business Innovative Research call for ‘Innovative Defense-Related Dual-Purpose Technologies’. Team Prevailance’s approach is titled “Learning Faster with Adaptive Individualized Training – Applying Real-time Neural Decoding to Air Force Pilot Training” and is focused on improved training across the Air Force. The Phase I award will execute over a fast-paced 90-day period, with a potential follow-on Phase II award.
usiness Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase I effort. The STTR program encourages small businesses to formally collaborate with a research institution to bring innovative solutions to Government. This STTR resulted in the development of FOX TWO, a system using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to optimize training scenarios and to ensure each trainee masters their required warfighting skills. Prevailance has also been formally asked for a Phase II proposal that would further develop the prototype and prepare the system for broad defense application. Prevailance bids a fond farewell to Mr. Cliff Acree, who provided superlative leadership, guidance, energy and humor over his 11-year tenure with the company. Cliff’s leadership of a complex and multi-faceted program ensured thousands of our Warfighters were trained in the combat skills they need to succeed. He ensured strict program compliance, worked tirelessly for improvements to training, and was responsible for an unsurpassed safety record. His legacy is preserved at Prevailance with the annual Cliff Acree Leadership Award. We wish him the very best in his future endeavors. Semper Fi.

Prevailance Director, Mike Schroeder recently traveled to San Diego to personally present the 2018 Prevailance Award to Amanda Mahoney. Our Prevailance Award is presented to “the Prevailance Ambassador who best advances the Customer's mission, thereby enhancing the Prevailance Brand.” Amanda is continuously recognized by her customer for her superior support during a Navy exercise that led to the successful execution of the world’s largest multi-nation Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR). She ensured foreign partners were positioned for success in multi-lateral exercises and is currently developing new strategies to execute while in support of EXWDC. Congratulations Amanda, your hard work and dedication to the Team doesn’t go unnoticed.
Prevailance COO, Larry Slade is shown presenting Dave Long the 2018 Magellan Award at the Prevailance Christmas party held on December 14, 2018. Our Magellan award is presented to “the Prevailance employee who not only demonstrates the most vision but lays the course and embarks on the journey.” Dave successfully and consistently provides remarkable support to the Anti-Terrorism Force Protect (ATFP) program. He influenced the customer to expand portfolio of the requirements that are assigned to Prevailance. Furthermore, he was able to effectively identify personnel and property protection in support of the ATFP program. Congratulations, Dave!

During 2018, George successfully and professionally answered the demands from challenging customers and faced significant personnel challenges.
